Smart Data
- the future
of veterinary medicine
Humanity is facing disruptive changes in many areas. We will also experience major changes in equine eye medicine. We are convinced that we can achieve evidence through data collection, although we have far too little patient data in this very small medical field.
Now
My veterinary practice and anirec are at the very beginning of this development, both technically and in terms of medical data, which we will help to shape in a positive way. Because we have decided to start, we can show initial results. This gives us an idea of the future, provided we get involved and improve initial difficulties by helping to shape it.
Since we set ourselves the goal of collecting aggregated data, I have been entering diagnoses for many patients. This results in a statistical distribution of illnesses in a certain period of time in my patient population.
Now I'm working on entering images and all clinical data from all patients into the app in everyday practice. Useful results from this motivate me to do this. For example, I've already been able to compare two knotting techniques and get a clear result. This improves my surgical techniques and I can explain everything quickly, easily and factually.
As soon as we develop and use technology in a positive way, we achieve positive goals. We have started to collect, aggregate and analyze data. If we do this together, we will eventually gain exponential benefits for medicine and patients. The anirec GmbH was founded in 2021 for this project and the development of a web & mobile app.
Our artificial intelligence can identify eye diseases in photos. This opens up many possibilities for the benefit of patients. We can use this technology for the benefit of veterinarians and animals.
